THE FIRST ANNUAL ST KILDA STOMP!

First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR from camp King Cannons and thanks to everyone who came out to any of our festival sets over the past two months. We just finished up on the Big Day Out tour and had a blast! Now we'd like to announce the first ever annual St Kilda Stomp which will be taking place at the Espy in Melbourne on the 24th February. Joining us on the night will be special guests, Kira Puru & The Bruise and DJ Mohair Slim. Make sure you come down and have a dance!

Fresh from our amazing tour with The Living End & Hunting Grounds, we have just announced our 'Shot To Kill' single tour!!
We are going to be hitting up Victoria, New South Wales, The ACT and Queensland throughout the end of October/early November. Jackson Firebird and The Strums will be coming along for the ride.

King Cannons have well and truly exploded into 2011, kicking off the year with a new label, new management and are about to shake you back to consciousness with a string of live shows throughout February, March and April.
EMI Music Australia welcomes King Cannons to their multi ARIA Award winning artist family with label chairman, Mark Poston, saying… “Everyone at EMI really believes in this band – we all have that magic feeling. King Cannons are not only going to be around for many years – but they are going to be a real band of the people (just like all the great bands from The Clash to The Living End). All power to them.”
Following a long history with EMI Music Australia, fellow label manager of 10 years, and good friend, Graham “Asho” Ashton of Footstomp Music, now manages King Cannons. A pumped Asho explains, "The first thing you notice about KING CANNONS is their total commitment to each other and their music. The Footstomp Music team are completely honoured to be welcomed into that kind of rock n roll family".
In March, King Cannons begin their nationwide tour in support of their self-titled, debut EP and along with dates in VIC, NSW & SA, for the very first ...time King Cannons are taking their act to QLD!

King Cannons play 3 shows in 3 evenings in February, in NSW & Melbourne.
It begins with the Playground Weekender Festival in Wiseman's Ferry, NSW on Friday the 17th. The Gaelic Theatre in Sydney on the 18th and then back home on the 19th supporting US girls, "The Like" at the Northcote Social Club.

A big thanks to everyone that braved the weather and made it out to our final Melbourne show of 2010. We had a ball, big ups to all the vocal cats in the front rows!
Also thanks to the good people of Sydney for coming out in numbers @ The Sando the next day. What a fantastic room! Special thanks to Billabong Backpackers for upping the bar and letting us take a dip. Brilliant.
